Psalm 28: From a Cry for Mercy to Blessing on God’s People
Psalm 28 begins with David fearing that the Lord’s silence will leave him among the dead, asks God to judge violent deceivers, and then breaks into praise because God has heard him. His private plea finally becomes a prayer for the Lord to save and carry His people. Jesus hears the helpless, bears judgment for sinners, and shepherds His redeemed people forever.
